I’ve mentioned this a couple of times already, but is there anything more obnoxious than people who prefix their sentences with a declaration that they’re repeating what they’re about to say? I find that there’s a direct correlation between the scope of this prefix, to how annoying that individual is:
Examples:
“I don’t think I’ve mentioned this before, but we need to do a better job of fighting climate change.” <- What a great person, let's hang out.
"I might have told you already, but you have something green stuck between your teeth." <- Uh…thank you I guess?
"As I've said a couple times already, you need to fight fire with fire." <- You don't tell me what to do, I'll fight fire with water. Or sand. So shut up.
"I've told you a million times, we need to murder more dolphins!" <- You're a bag of turd minus the bag.
